Technology advancements and the accelerated evolution of working models, which have occurred in the last four years, have resulted in significant changes in the way that we work as well as in approaches to the workplace. Employees expect greater flexibility and autonomy in how and where they work, while employers strive to find the optimal balance between productivity and workers’ expectations. As a result, hybrid work and the return of employees to the office have become hot topics for discussion in today's business world.

In the “Office re-entry in Poland” report, we rely on the results of surveys conducted among over 1000 office employees from the largest Polish cities, namely, Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Tricity, Poznań, Katowice, and Łódź. We have also utilized a global study conducted by JLL, which involved over 200 decision-makers from international corporations and more than 20,000 office workers from around the world.

In the following report, we compare the expectations of employers as well as employees and, above all, focus on showing to what extent employees from various industries have returned to offices today, and what the attitudes are among different generations towards office work. We also try to answer a range of questions including: for whom should today’s offices be designed, how will employer expectations translate into employee attitudes towards hybrid work, to what extent will companies work remotely in the future, and how will the entire office revolution impact businesses in the future.
