In April, renovation work has begun at Wrocław's Sky Tower. The first stage will include refreshing the interior of the shopping mall, while the next stage will include rebuilding and enlarging the viewing point and relocating Salvador Dali's "Profile of Time" sculpture. The redevelopment of the complex will take 2 years.
The renovation work in Sky Tower is carried out at night so as not to disturb daytime use of the building. The next phases are planned to add many plants and functional wooden furniture. The viewpoint located on the 49th floor of the skyscraper will also undergo a metamorphosis. Work on its reconstruction will begin this June and will last until spring 2024. The terrace will be expanded to 600 sqm, from the current 250 sqm, and its space will be filled with food and beverage outlets. The terrace, which will offer views of the city from a height of 200 meters, will be accessible via a modern multimedia elevator.
