The second phase of the Gdynia Waterfront complex has been completed. Two modern office buildings have been constructed at Waszyngtona Street. They offer 16,000 sqm of leasable space, with the ground floor intended for services and an underground parking area. The design of the buildings offers flexibility in the arrangement of office space by minimising the number of internal supports. In addition, during this phase of the project, two buildings with a residential function offering 126 flats were constructed. Next to these buildings there will be small green areas, which will be accessible only to residents.
The residential and office buildings from this phase of the development will seek LEED certification. After Phase I, the office building has already received LEED certification at the Platinum level. It is planned that more than a quarter of the project area will be covered by green spaces.
The next phase of the project envisages the construction of three buildings at Skwer Kościuszki: a multifunctional building, a cultural pavilion and a hotel with conference rooms.
The Gdynia Waterfront project will provide 75,500 sqm of mixed-use space. There will be residential, retail and service facilities, as well as office space and a hotel with a conference centre. The complex will be located between Hryniewickiego, Waszyngtona and Skwer Kościuszki streets.
