The former Lublin Tobacco Works Factory will be brought back to life. The revitalization project involves maintaining the character of the space with the renovation of 5 buildings and the accompanying infrastructure. A multifunctional space with offices, stores and restaurants complemented by green squares for recreation and outdoor events will be created on the site of the old factory.
The first work on the revitalization of the former cigarette factory is already underway. The inspiration for the modernization is OFF Piotrkowska in Lodz. The design of the complex calls for maintaining the characteristic features of Polish industrial architecture from the first half of the 20th century. The buildings are designed with a regular grid of windows, a facade covered with modernist cement brick and ribbed ceilings.
The complex is located on Wrotkowska Street in Lublin. The investment is expected to disenchant this part of Lublin and attract tourists. The work will be carried out in stages on an area of 9 hectares.
