The ongoing pandemic is having a huge impact on our lifestyle, work models, and also - education. And that’s why it is even more difficult to believe that in the 21st century, many children and teenagers are still facing problems with access to the internet and devices that would allow them to participate in home schooling and ensure constant contact with their peers. This translates into their social exclusion and generates backlogs that may negatively affect the future of this group of pupils. Because of this, we have decided to support ten selected schools in smaller towns, as this is where the scale of the problem is the biggest, and provide them with 120 laptops from our company. Our action was supported by Sims Recycling Solutions, which was responsible for preparing the equipment for remote learning.
