Tri-City, Warsaw, 18 July 2014 - Schibsted Tech Polska, part of Schibsted Media Group, has leased 380 sq m of office space in Olivia Four building (Olivia Business Centre office complex) in Gdańsk. JLL experts assisted in the search for the location and represented the tenant during the negotiations of contract terms.
Schibsted Tech Polska, which already has its branch in Kraków, will provide from its Gdańsk office, research and development services for the Schibsted Media Group. The group employs 7,000 people in 27 countries around the world.
Tomasz Zarzeczny, Site Manager, Schibsted Tech Polska commented: “We are planning to establish in Gdańsk a new programming centre, where we will create Internet websites, mobile applications, and SmartTV applications based on Agile methodologies. This year we intend to employ several dozen specialists and we expect further development in the future.”

At the end of Q1 of 2014 total office space in Tri-City (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) was more than 470,000 sq m, which puts the region in fourth position in Poland, after Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław. Vacant space of 65,000 sq m gives the companies seeking offices a wide choice of attractive lease options and provides flexible lease conditions.
Olivia Four is an 11-storey building offering 14,700 sq m of modern office space. It is the fourth phase of the Olivia Business Centre office complex. So far, the projects completed in this investment are Olivia Gate, Olivia Point & Olivia Tower, and the aforementioned Olivia Four.
