The Embassy of Ireland in Poland will remain at its current location in Liberty Corner in Warsaw's city centre for the next 10 years. The diplomatic mission has been housed in the office building at 5 Mysia Street since 2004 and will begin another decade of tenancy from the beginning of December. JLL experts represented the tenant in the transaction.
The Embassy of Ireland has been located in Liberty Corner, in Warsaw's Śródmieście district, since 2004. Liberty Corner is owned by Manova Partners, an international property investment manager with approximately EUR 12 billion in assets under management, spanning 170 properties across Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The 750 square meter space occupied by the Embassy is set to be renovated soon to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase comfort for its occupants.
The Embassy of Ireland has been located in the Liberty Corner building for 20 years, almost since the building’s inception. It stands out with both its elegant facade as well as its location - in the very centre of the capital, neighbouring the country's most important institutions. It is an excellent place for the Irish diplomatic mission, so we are pleased that we could support our client in extending the lease and remaining at this iconic address. Moreover, the building owner plans to refresh the common reception lobby area, which will further increase its attractiveness.
– Negotiating the renewal of a lease is a complicated process and it was good to have JLL expert advice to assist with this matter. – says Brendan Farrell, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Ireland.
– We are continuously expanding our real estate portfolio, so it is immensely satisfying when a tenant chooses to renew their lease after many years of collaboration. This decision reflects not only the high quality of the location and design but also the exceptional property services that provide tenants with confidence in their daily operations and overall needs being met – comments Łukasz Pawikowski, Director, Head of Asset Management CEE & Nordics.
Liberty Corner is a unique Class A+ office building consisting of two independent parts: over 5,000 square meters of office space, and the headquarters of the Polish Press Agency. The building's elegant facade is finished with various types of sandstone with different textures and granite, which relate to the nearby historical buildings.
Built in 2003, it is located in the heart of Warsaw at Mysia Street, near Trzech Krzyży Square. In the immediate vicinity of the building are the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the Sheraton Hotel, embassies, ministries, and many other government institutions. The location provides excellent access to public transportation, as well as a wide range of service points, gyms, shops, and restaurants.
