BASF Polska to relocate to West Station II

BASF Polska, the Polish division of the world’s largest chemical company, has leased nearly 2,800 sq m in the West Station II office building. Experts from JLL represented BASF Polska during the processes of searching for the most convenient options and the negotiation of lease terms.

Company’s Polish headquarters moved to West Station II. BASF also has two production plants and a distribution centre in Poland. In total, the company employs approximately 800 specialists in the country.

“The company will remain on Aleje Jerozolimskie Street, moving into West Station II, a modern office scheme which offers an excellent location”, comments Katarzyna Byczkowska, Managing Director, BASF Polska.

“We chose West Station II because it is well-served by public transport and is in close proximity to Dworzec Warszawa Zachodnia station. This is, of course, of great importance for our employees”, adds Katarzyna Byczkowska.

The company moved into this well-located modern office project, developed by HB Reavis developed, on 4th June.

West Station’s location adjacent to the main artery of the city ensures excellent connections with all of Warsaw's districts as well as other regional cities. BASF’s new office will be fully adjusted to the needs of employees. The space planning and arrangement is supported by Origameo - an internal team of consultants from HB Reavis consisting of architects, interior designers and sociologists.

West Station II has been awarded the BREEAM Interim "Excellent" certificate. It deploys modern, eco-friendly and technological solutions, such as LED lighting and water use reduction systems. A custom designed glazed façade ensures maximum levels of sunlight and acoustic isolation. The complex is also equipped with cutting-edge air conditioning and ventilation systems with central air humidity controls and individual temperature control systems.
