JLL advised Amazon in this one of the biggest lease transactions in Tri-City's office market in 2014
Tri-City, 30 December 2014 – Ivona Software (an Amazon company) leased 2,700 sq m of modern office space in the Olivia Business Centre in Gdańsk. The development centre launched at the beginning of December, will be working, i.a., on Text-to-Speech solutions and software. The recruitment processes for Amazon’s new unit in Poland have begun.
Experts from JLL advised Amazon during the process of searching for the appropriate location and the negotiation of lease terms. Furthermore, JLL’s international team of engineers supported Amazon in terms of technical-architectural consultancy by coordinating the execution of works in the complex.

Amazon found good solution in a large space and the opportunity to develop on one floor. It is also worth mentioning that the Amazon’s decision to launch a centre for research and development in the Tri-City shows that the region has all the necessary attributes to attract advanced services based on knowledge.”
