The renovation of the tenement house at 22 Sienkiewicza Street in Łódź has started. Construction works will cover both the interior and exterior of the building. The roof, floors and installations will be replaced, and the architectural detail on the building's facade will be restored. As a part of the reconstruction, the building will also be superstructured and the old wooden outbuildings will disappear.
In the courtyard of the tenement house there will be lawns with magnolias and a pergola overgrown with vines in the courtyard of the tenement house. Additionally, there will be a separate square with parking spaces for bicycles. There will also be benches and new lighting here.
The tenement house will provide 37 offices, 5 premises for entrepreneurs and Local Activity Center.
The renovation is currently at the stage of demolition works. The works are scheduled to be completed at the turn of 2022/2023.
