Magazyn Bawełny is currently the highest rated building revitalization project in Central and Eastern Europe. It has received a BREEAM New Construction environmental certificate at the highest Outstanding level. In Poland, only 3% of BREEAM certifications have earned an Outstanding rating. In addition, Magazyn Bawełny is ranked at the second place in Poland among building projects in the BREEAM Interim: Design Stage certification with a high score of 92.4%.
The Magazyn Bawełny will provide 8,500 sqm of class "A+" office space and 3,500 sqm of retail space. The project will be built in a beautiful brick building of a former textile empire. The building was used as a cotton warehouse for the neighbouring spinning mill and is a unique monument to the cultural heritage of Lodz.
The planned start date for the redevelopment is the second half of 2023. The developer is currently awaiting the issuance of a building permit.
