At Grzybowski Square in the place where previously the Jewish Theatre was located a 120 meters high building will be erected.
After a few years of fighting for this place, the Warsaw Town Hall has given its consent for the development.
The plans of the property project include construction of the Righteous Among the Nations Education Center and office and service space, while the new headquarter of the Theatre will be located in Warsaw's Wola district.
Interestingly, the historic mosaics, which are the remains of the theater, have been preserved and will now be incorporated into the building.
According to initial calculations, the investment will provide about 34.8 thousand sq m of office space.
