The Plaza Gallery shopping centre, which has been closed for over a year, will be replaced by a modern mixed-use complex consisting of several buildings on a site with a total area of 80,000 sqm. Demolition work is currently beginning and is expected to take approximately six months.
The developer has declared that some elements of the Plaza Gallery will be preserved and reused in the construction of the new buildings. This will ensure that the project is in line with the concept of sustainable development from the very beginning, and will also ensure that the memory of what was once one of Cracow's more popular shopping centres is preserved. The project is scheduled to be completed between 2023 and 2025.
