New projects in Wola District

The Polish Mint wants to construct in the place of its properties in the Wola District, 130 – meters high skyscraper (at the corner of Prosta and Żelazna Streets) and 8-storey glazed buildings from the side of Żelazna, Pereca i Waliców Streets. The draft was prepared by the JEMS Architects studio. Should be mentioned that the master plan allows for construction of a high-rise building in that area. Polish Mint has already filed an application for planning permission of the 31-storey tower.

Polish Mint declares also that, it will cover the costs of the construction of the road extension from Pereca to Waliców Street, what would largely relieve overcrowded Żelazana Street. Polish Mint presented to the City Authorities also another project of the 13-storey building at the corner of Grzybowska and Żelazna Streets. This site is currently owned by the Mints building Aurum, where the coins are minted. Therefore the realization of this project will be possible only after the introduction of the Euro currency.
