Poland is among the leading countries in Central-Eastern Europe in terms of the development of sustainable construction. According to the latest PLGBC report containing data from 14 countries, the Polish office sector is a leader in complying with the most stringent standards with as much as 51% of the region's environmentally certified buildings. Over the course of only one year from March 2019 to March 2020, we have increased certified space by 3 million sq m to over 17 million sq m.
Therefore, Poland can be proud not only of projects with the 'Outstanding' rating, but also a group of companies specialized in implementing the requirements of international standards, such as BREEAM, LEED or WELL. Building certification is a confirmation that the object meets certain parameters. Good communication between all parties involved, consequences and proven contractors are the key to the success of any project.
