Demolition of a tenement house from the 1930s at 44 Rozbrat Street is ongoing. The conservator accepted the Decision on the conditions of development and land development. In the place of the building that survived the war and the Warsaw uprising will be built an office building.
Formerly, the tenement house served as a training center for the Central Committee and was the seat of the Polish United Workers' Party. After the change of political system, it became the seat of the SLD party.
The new office building with 6 floors, a regular grid of windows with a façade finished with stone cladding will offer approx. 4 500 sqm of office space and 700 sqm of service space. Also a two-storey car park for 50 cars is projected under the building. Completion of construction works is planned for the third quarter of 2025.
